PRESS NOTE 

TELANGANA STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD DGP OFFICE COMPLEX, LAKDI-KA-PUL, HYDERABAD

Earlier. on 20th January 2023, the Board issued a Press Note informing that in the ongoing  recruitment process of 2022, as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court in Writ Petition No. 77  of 2023 (a copy of the Order received in the Recruitment Board on 19th January 2023) the representations made by Candidates who are pregnant / recently delivered mothers will be considered  as a one-time opportunity and such Candidates will be allowed to appear in the Final Written  Examination subject to their giving  

➢ A written Undertaking (in the enclosed proforma) that they would participate in the  Physical Efficiency Test within one month from the date of publication of result of the  Final Written Examination, if they qualify in the Final Written Test and 

➢ Bona fide Medical Certificates  

on or before 31st January 2023 

It was also informed in our Press Note dated 20th January 2023 that in view of the above, all  the relevant eligible Candidates who are pregnant / recently delivered and not attended the  PMT / PET are advised to submit representations along with an Undertaking (given in the  prescribed proforma in Annexure-A) and Medical Certificate of Gestation Period (for  Candidates who are Pregnant) or Certificate of giving birth to a Child (for Candidates of Postpartum) from the concerned Hospitals. The same should be submitted in the Inward  Section of the O/o the Director General of Police, Telangana State, Lakdi-ka-pul, Hyderabad on or before 31st January 2023. This is applicable only to the Candidates who have qualified in the  Preliminary Written Test(s) and submitted Part-II Applications Online. 

Now, in view of the PMT / PET being conducted from 15th February onwards as per  certain Court Orders, the date of submission of the aforementioned Representation is extended  up to 28th February 2023. Candidates who do not submit representations along with an Undertaking by 28th February 2023 will be presumed to be not interested in availing of this opportunity and they will not be allowed the said relief.

WRITTEN UNDERTAKING

I submit that I could not attend the PMT / PET scheduled on ___________  at Venue _____________ due to Pregnancy* / Postpartum condition.** As per the orders of the  Hon’ble High Court in WP No. 77 of 2023 / Orders given in the individual Writ Petition, I tender 

herewith an Undertaking that – 

(*) I am Pregnant and submit herewith the Gestation Period Report dated  

________. My Consultant Doctor is __________ of ______________  Hospital situated at ______________. I will undergo Physical Measurement  Test (PMT) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET) whenever it is scheduled within  one month from the date of publication of result of the Final Written  Examination (FWE), if I qualify in the Final Written Examination.

(**) I submit that I delivered a baby on __________ at __________  

Hospital situated at ___________. I am submitting herewith the Birth  Certificate issued by the Doctor of the said Hospital, I will undergo Physical  Measurement Test (PMT) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET) whenever it is  scheduled within one month from the date of publication of result of the Final  Written Examination (FWE), if I qualify in the Final Written Examination.
